IN THE BEGINNING

Peter and Sue Strebe started this business back in 1973 making jewelry and providing repairs for other retail jewelry stores. Later on, as the business expanded, we opened our very own showroom in the river bottom in Tempe. In 1983, as the city of Tempe also expanded, adding the 202 freeway, we moved a couple blocks north onto Scottsdale Rd and Curry until building changes in 2012 forced us to move once more to our current location.

Still on Scottsdale road and in still in Tempe. We’re now located just 2 blocks north of the 202 where we have been proudly serving our neighbors with pride.

A FRESH PERSPECTIVE

After 47 years of hard work and dedication, both Peter and Sue have officially retired. But not to worry, Jewelsmith remains the same down to earth and quality driven family jewelry shop that our generations of customers have grown to know and love.
